Package marked delivered but can’t find it
If no one was home at the time of delivery, the carrier will usually leave your package in a safe location.
Quick checks
- Look around common drop spots: front door, porch, garage, side/rear door, mailbox, lobby, parcel locker.
- Ask neighbors or building management—packages are sometimes held for safekeeping.
- Verify the shipping address in your order confirmation email to make sure it’s correct.
Heads-up: Carriers sometimes mark a package “Delivered” a little early. It can take up to 24 hours for it to actually arrive or for the next scan to appear.
Track & confirm
Use your tracking number to check the latest scan and delivery notes:
Still not located?
- Wait 24 hours after a “Delivered” scan—many parcels show up on the next delivery pass.
- If it’s still missing, contact the carrier with your tracking number for a delivery trace.
